2-D Modeling of HTS Coils With $T$-$A$ Formulation: How to Handle Different Coupling Scenarios

چکیده

Numerical models based on the finite-element method are popular tools for investigating macroscopic electromagnetic behavior of high-temperature superconductor (HTS) applications. This article explains how to use $T$ - notation="LaTeX">$A$ formulation in COMSOL Multiphysics modeling HTS coils 2-D with different coupling scenarios between turns. First we consider a racetrack coil wound from one piece superconducting tape. Then, obtained by winding cable composed tapes. In latter case, tape turns either electrically connected along their entire length or just at two ends coil: model, these types electrical connection implemented help circuit module. The current density distributions and ac losses compared discussed. limits applicability presented approach pointed out. model is developed straight section coils, but can be easily adapted axisymmetric geometries.

a comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection

supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Adaptive Query Formulation to Handle Database Evolution

Databases are continuously evolving environments, where design constructs are added, removed or updated rather often. Research has extensively dealt with the problem of database evolution. Nevertheless, problems arise with existing queries and applications, mainly due to the fact that, in most cases, their role as integral parts of the environment is not given the proper attention. Furthermore,...

How Best to Handle a Dicey Situation

We introduce the Destructive Object Handling (DOH) problem, which models aspects of many real-world allocation problems, such as shipping explosive munitions, scheduling processes in a cluster with fragile nodes, re-using passwords across multiple websites, and quarantining patients during a disease outbreak. In these problems, objects must be assigned to handlers, but each object has a probabi...

How to Handle Interacting Concerns?

Concerns in software applications can range from general-purpose concerns such as tracing, synchronization or error handling, to more specific ones such as scheduling in simulation domains or time constraints in real-time systems. An appropriate separation of concerns is supposed to reduce software complexity and improve software evolution, by keeping track of different decomposition criteria (...

the present study is a survey os postmodern historical novel with respect to the voice of women. it argues how the recorded history is regulated by the rules of power and how women have been excluded from this discourse.ther study analysez angela carters nights at the circus as an example of postmodern historical novel to illustrate how this novel has questioned the historical narrative and how it has inserted women into history by breaking the rules of patriarchy.

the present thesis is a study of postmodern historical novel with respect to the voice of women. according to postmodern historiography, the established institution of history is one of the other manifestations of patriarchys power which has silenced women. the study analyzes angela carters nights at the circus as a postmodern historical novel which makes its female characters transgress the pat...
